We are no longer kids and it is important that our cereal packaging reflects exactly that.&nbsp; The challenge of this project was to neglect the stereotypical cereal box design. I explored many shapes and came up with two ideas, Concept A and Concept B. After much dilemma, I decided to push both concepts. Brands like “Cheerios” and “Trix” strongly caters to the younger population while Special K caters more towards the adult population. I had an urge to change the Special K brand into a unisex design, leading to the creation of a b-line for Special K called “K+”. FontThe font for the first concept is carefully created with geometric forms. The Kellogg’s logo must be on top of the K+ logo to show contrast between the two logos. This allows for easy identification of the logos, even when small. My interest in experimentation in the natural world has lead me to explore the subject about electricity. The object is to make the readers feel the vibrancy of the electrical energy since we cannot see it with our naked eyes. The texts hover freely yet orderly to express continuous flow of electricity. This book breaks many artistic and conventional rule but these behaviors add to the experimental characteristics of the inventors and history of electricity. However, when music videos were reintroduced to accommodate this audience, viewership remained very low. Every element was thoughtfully chosen and crafted to recreate a homely atmosphere for the host. To achieve a sense of nostalgia, MTV posters were repetitively mounted on the walls with custom paint colors. The main challenge was installing the lightbox, typically a $500 professional expense, which I tackled by building it myself using a shadow box frame, white acrylic, and a vinyl logo. The installation, located in ACCD Room 203, was documented for reference. The walls were constructed with cost-effective chipboard, supplemented by 2x4 wooden supports and nails from Home Depot. Think of it as YouTube, but with a twist – everything is unedited and presented live. Through our website, you have the opportunity to gain fame and earn income in your spare time. You can host shows where you're free to discuss intriguing global issues with your viewers or simply share your daily life with your audience. While recording or watching your show live, an interactive chat box on the side enables you to engage with your viewers and fellow hosts. Our inspiration for this concept comes from a popular Korean program known as "Afreeca TV," a renowned online video streaming platform where creators receive donations from their audience. I fashioned this miniature exhibition using MDF wood and applied paint and print to it. To activate the miniature lightbox, you can place your phone against the left side wall of the display with your flashlight turned on. The focus is around the exterior beauty of chocolate when chocolate should be about embracing its true nature. This includes, how it breaks, the spirit of chocolate, and the complexity of the production. I realized that if a package isn't rectangular, it won't be placed in the same aisle as most other chocolates. After experiencing the chocolate-making tour at Mast Brothers and learning about the philosophy of Green and Black's, I've come to understand the importance of ensuring that consumers truly enjoy the chocolates. Additionally, it's vital to design chocolates with the makers' perspective in mind, considering elements like the production process and how the chocolates are molded. Combining these insights, I've decided to redesign the chocolates based on how we create them and how we share and break the pieces apart. Target AudienceMy target audience consists of early adopters who are open to trying new things. They lead active lifestyles and spend a significant amount of time outside their homes. The product should be designed to be gender-neutral and carry an implicit cool factor. To successfully capture their attention, the packaging must be intellectually engaging. Understanding the life of humans and knowing the phenomenon of the people who we blindly pass by was a project that I wanted to get in depth with. Through this project, I was able to speak with a few homeless and capture moments of their lives as they try to get past a month at a time. The homeless people I’ve met have been betrayed by friends, hurt by family, or came to LA in search of a new start. Next time you pass by a homeless, remember that it wasn’t easy for them to accept their fate of living on the street.
